ALARA Imaging is a mobile diagnostic imaging company based out of Atlanta, GA. We are filling a need for in-office diagnostic testing in geographic areas where patients are driving many miles to have testing done. Our service area includes the underserved South Metro-Atlanta area to South Georgia . We use state-of-the-art solid state imaging equipment for our nuclear scans and can also provide stress equipment for those offices that don't currently have treadmill stress equipment. Our physicians read studies via an internet-based mini-PACS system which enables referring physicians to access the reports immediately.
All of our nuclear medicine technologists excel in patient care and are certified and ACLS trained. If a nurse or exercise stress technologist is needed we also provide them as well.
We aid existing nuclear labs on applying for and achieving accreditation through ICANL. We have consultants available for ICAEL and ICAVL accreditation help as well.
In the near future, we plan to provide echocardiography – which is an excellent complementary diagnostic study to nuclear stress testing.
